Open Job Position: Entry-Level MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Employment: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Perform work orders as assigned including but not limited to minor electrical, furniture, and appliance repairs and installation; Perform a variety of plumbing functions; Perform apartment repair including but limited to painting; Assist in establishing a safety program including a Fire and Disaster Plan; Participate in exercising Fire and Disaster planning and maintains adequate documentation of fire drills; Review the physical environment of the facility on a regular basis and directs request for repair and replacement when necessary; Continually have good organizational and team work skills that promote positive and productive work force; Adhere to additional duties assigned by Maintenance Director. Qualifications and Skills
At least 6 months of relevant building maintenance experience; Ability to perform minor carpentry skills and jobs; Ability to interpret written instructions and schematics; Flexible schedule and availability on weekends, holidays, and to be on-call A love of working with the elderly in a customer-service-oriented environment; and Ability to have fun every day, and Enhance Lives and Celebrate the Excitement of Living.
